DataRealm is currently seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant (Accounting) to support our administrative team. This role is primarily focused on accounting and bookkeeping responsibilities and will also provide support across operations and marketing as needed, offering variety and exposure to different areas of the business.We?re looking for a candidate who is highly organized, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. What You?ll Be Doing:Accounting & Bookkeeping Record and maintain daily financial transactions in the accounting systemSupport Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, including invoice preparation, issuing invoices, tracking payments, and following up on outstanding balancesPerform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial recordsAssist with Accounts Payable (AP), including processing vendor invoices, verifying expenses, and preparing paymentsMaintain accurate financial records through data entry and general bookkeeping tasksWork with internal expense tracking systems, record in financial softwareProcess weekly payroll using PayTrak and ADP, ensuring accuracy and confidentialityPrepare journal entries and support month-end and year-end closing processesTrack employee expenses using our internal system Administration & OperationsProvide day-to-day administrative support across accounting, operations, and marketing functionsMaintain organized digital and physical filing systemsSupport operational activities, including client communication related to invoicing, documentation, and project-related administrative mattersProvide occasional support with company marketing initiatives, including social media coordinationPosition Requirements:Diploma or Certificate in Accounting, Business Administration, Office Administration, or a related field1?2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, payroll, or office administrationStrong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processesExperience with payroll processing is considered an assetExperience using accounting or payroll software such as QuickBooks, PayTrak, or ADP is considered an assetProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and OutlookStrong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretionStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt in a dynamic environment What We Offer:Competitive compensation package, including annual performance reviews, salary increases, and profit-sharing.Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and extended health care.Flexible working hours.Monthly team events and social activities.A friendly and collaborative team environment.About DataRealm:Problem solving ? that?s our business.
