Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems. Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings. Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges. Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing. Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Green job: Involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes. Support for youths: Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth.
