Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities. Take patients' blood pressure, temperature and pulse. Serve meal trays and feed patients. Make beds and maintain patients' rooms. Supervise patients' exercise routines. Maintain inventory of supplies. Bathe, dress and groom patients. Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher. Administer first aid in emergency situations. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : First Aid Certificate. CPR Certificate. Personal suitability: Client focus. Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication. Flexibility. Judgement. Organized. Patience. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months. Support for newcomers and refugees: Offers mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees . Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth.
