Hire, supervise and schedule staff. Organize planting of trees, gardens and lawns. Resolve work problems by providing technical advice to increase the value and functionality of a property. Schedule events, programs and activities. Schedule work. Plan and direct grounds maintenance. Plan and estimate labour and materials. Organize and direct construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls. Plan, manage and supervise landscape construction work. Maintain work records and logs. Read blueprints and drawings. Repair and maintain equipment. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Equipment and machinery experience: Chain saw. Forklift. Front end loader. Pick-up truck. Small engine equipment. Sod cutter. Tractor mower. Area of work experience: Snow removal. Area of specialization: Lawn care. Grounds maintenance. Landscape construction. Security and safety: Basic security clearance. Criminal record check. Driver's validity licence check.
