Education: Bachelor's degree. Work setting: Fitness centre. Tasks: Consult with other health care professionals to evaluate treatment plans . Record observations. Review reports from health care professionals to determine patients' current and potential functioning levels. Write progress reports . Prepare a treatment plan for each patient. Provide education to clients regarding health promotion and injury prevention, management and treatment. Implement treatment plans. Analyze the patient during the treatments. Initiate, design and implement specialized therapy programs. Design specialized therapy programs to maintain, rehabilitate or enhance movement, musculoskeletal functioning and performance in sports, work and recreation. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Certified professional trainer (CPTN-CPT). Accreditation or registration with the appropriate national, provincial or territorial professional association. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Physically demanding.
