Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Work setting: Nursing home/home for the aged. Tasks: Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities. Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up and assembling of medical equipment. Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort. Supply and empty bed pans. Serve meal trays and feed patients. Weigh, lift, turn and position patients. Deliver messages, reports, requisitions and specimens between departments. Maintain inventory of supplies.
