UPDATING DATABASE FOR FUTURE OPPORTUNITIESNO START DATE FOR THIS POSITIONPosition: Onshore LabourerJob Summary: The Onshore Labourer provides general support across a variety of operational and maintenance activities in an industrial or commercial environment. This role involves performing manual tasks such as cleaning, painting, handling tools and materials, and assisting skilled trades personnel.PREREQUISITES/QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or equivalentPrevious labour or industrial experienceAbility to perform physically demanding work (lifting, bending, standing for extended periods)Basic knowledge of hand and power toolsForklift Certificate considered an assetHard Working and DependableStrong Safety BackgroundBasic PPE (safety boots, coveralls, hard hat, work gloves, safety glasses, rain gear, etc)Must pass Background/Pre-Employment Screening ChecksRESPONSIBILITIES:Perform general labour duties including cleaning, sweeping, and maintaining work areasAssist with surface preparation and painting tasks (e.g. sanding, masking, coating)Handle, transport, and organize tools, materials, and equipment safelySupport skilled tradespeople (e.g. mechanics, electricians, technicians) as requiredAssist with inspection and basic maintenance of lifting equipment and associated gearParticipate in loading and unloading materials, supplies, and equipmentActively participate in the safety programs within the companyActively participate in safety, departmental, pre-tour, client meetings, etc.Monitor the environmental conditions to ensure the safety of operations in the facility or work areaEnsure that approved operating procedures are adhered to at all times.
