Town Square Brewing is a locally owned micro-brewery passionate about creating change in our community. Located in South Edmonton, we offer our guests a unique experience with every visit. Our ever-changing beer list pairs with our one-of-a-kind menu focusing on artisan pizzas. Our love for beer is carried through all of our dishes! We're looking for a cook passionate about food & craft beer to join our kitchen team! Part time position available for days, evenings & weekends. We offer a flexible schedule and a fun and supportive atmosphere! *Requirements:* - 2 years kitchen experience - Craft beer knowledge - Personable & Friendly team player - Ability to work in fast-paced environment with awareness of your surroundings - General knowledge of food safety practices *Duties* * Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards * Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients * Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety and sanitation regulations * Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, and prep stations * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area throughout shifts * Serve customers by providing friendly and prompt service when needed * Follow proper food safety procedures to prevent contamination and ensure freshness * Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders during busy periods *Experience* * Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required * Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety protocols is advantageous * Experience in the food industry, especially in meal preparation or pizza making, is a plus * Strong understanding of food handling standards and sanitation practices * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail * Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service Work Remotely * No Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Pay: $16.00-$19.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 ? 25 per week Benefits: * Discounts * On-site parking Work Location: In person Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $16.00-$19.00 per hour Benefits: * Casual dress * Discounted or free food * On-site parking Experience: * Kitchen: 2 years (preferred) Work Location: In person
