*Job Overview* We are seeking a detail-oriented Jr. Bookkeeper to join our team. Prior experience with accounting software and a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and job costing are required. This role is perfect for individuals eager to grow their career in finance and accounting. *Duties* * Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice entry, vendor payments, and client billing * Perform job cost tracking and coding of expenses to active construction projects in QuickBooks Online * Reconcile accounts and support month-end close procedures * Maintain accurate and organized digital and physical filing systems * Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and team members to resolve billing and administrative inquiries * Assist the Office Coordinator with administrative duties as required * Support reporting and documentation needs across active job files *Experience & Qualifications* * Proficiency with QuickBooks Online (required) * Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation * Experience in job costing, preferably in a construction or trades environment * Experience with bank reconciliation and account analysis * Knowledge of payroll processing and related compliance requirements * Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment * Strong communication skills to effectively document and report financial information * Basic budgeting skills are a plus * Eagerness to learn and grow within the accounting field This position provides valuable hands-on experience in bookkeeping and accounting operations, offering a solid foundation for future career advancement within finance.
