*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across various commercial and residential settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in plumbing, welding, boiler systems, and appliance repair. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects requiring technical expertise and problem-solving skills to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction. *Duties* * Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations * Conduct routine inspections of HVAC units, boilers, and related mechanical equipment to identify issues early * Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints for accurate system installation and repairs * Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems such as pipe fitting and leak repairs * Utilize welding skills for fabrication or repair of metal components within HVAC units * Repair appliances associated with HVAC systems as needed * Assist in construction or renovation projects involving HVAC infrastructure * Maintain detailed service records and documentation of all work performed * Ensure all work complies with safety protocols and building codes *Qualifications* * Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or Mechanic with a solid understanding of HVAC systems and maintenance practices * Must have G1 or close to completing G1 gas license * Strong mechanical knowledge including plumbing, boiler operation, appliance repair, and construction fundamentals * Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams effectively * Skilled in welding and other fabrication techniques preferred * Experience with boiler systems and mechanical troubleshooting highly desirable * Knowledge of safety standards related to HVAC installation and repair processes * Construction or maintenance experience is a plus * Valid certification or licensing relevant to HVAC work is preferred but not mandatory depending on jurisdiction * Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment This position is integral to ensuring the efficient operation of heating, cooling, and ventilation systems while maintaining high safety standards.
