*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team, providing expert maintenance, repair, and installation services for residential and commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with HVAC systems, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a wide range of technical skills to ensure customer satisfaction and system performance. *Responsibilities* * Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation units * Perform routine maintenance and inspections to optimize system efficiency and longevity * Install new HVAC equipment following manufacturer specifications and schematics * Troubleshoot mechanical issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals * Conduct plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems such as condensate drainage or refrigerant line connections * Utilize welding skills when necessary for repairs or custom modifications * Repair or replace appliances and mechanical components as needed * Assist with boiler maintenance and repair when required * Ensure all work complies with safety standards and local building codes * Maintain detailed service records and communicate effectively with clients regarding repairs and recommendations *Requirements* * Proven experience in HVAC service, maintenance, or related mechanical fields * Strong knowledge of plumbing, welding, boiler systems, and appliance repair * Mechanical aptitude with the ability to read schematics and technical manuals * Experience working with construction tools and techniques for system installation or repair * Mechanic experience preferred, especially in troubleshooting complex mechanical issues * Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment * Valid driver?s license with a clean driving record * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail * Ability to lift heavy equipment safely and work in confined spaces or elevated areas as needed * Must have a valid G2 gas license * Must have a valid drivers license This position offers a dynamic work environment where technical expertise is valued.
