Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Installation. Various locations. Repair. On-site fabrication. Tasks: Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements . Measure and mark sheet metal according to template. Cut materials using power tools or by hand. Fit and join sheet metal parts. Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes. Security and safety: Basic security clearance. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Vehicle supplied by employer. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Team player.
