We practice real estate, family law, corporate matters and wills and estates. *About the Role* We all need variety and not every day is the same. This role has a strong focus on family law with opportunities for expansion into other areas of law. *Responsibilities:* * Draft pleadings * Serve and file legal documents * Prepare legal documents and briefs * Prepare financial statements and net family property statements * Prepare support calculations * Assemble and organize client file information *About You:* * 3+ years experience in family law * Possess a Law Clerk Diploma (or equivalent) * Knowledgeable in Divorcemate * Strong knowledge of Family Law Rules and Civil Procedure * Outstanding attention to detail, including the ability to proofread and format documents * Critical thinker with sound judgement * Ability to communicate in a professional manner with clients and lawyers * Strong organizational skills and time management skills * Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision and take initiative \**This is not an entry level position, *salary will be commensurate with experience Work remotely * No Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $35,000.00 per year Benefits: * On-site parking Experience: * family law clerk: 2 years (required) Work Location: In person- Location Kitchener, ON
