Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Warehouse. Tasks: Determine method of shipment. Prepare bills of lading, invoices and other shipping documents. Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents. Record shortages and reject damaged goods. Pack goods to be shipped. Unpack goods received. Affix identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments. Oversee loading and unloading of goods. Receive, unpack and sort incoming parts, supplies and materials. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Forklift Operator Certification. Equipment and machinery experience: Forklift. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Attention to detail. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Standing for extended periods. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots.
