Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs. Package take-out food. Prepare, heat and finish simple food items. Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment. Address customers' complaints or concerns. Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings. Assist clients/guests with special needs. Prepare and serve specialty food at customers' tables. Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff. Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Standing for extended periods. Work under pressure.
