Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting: Staff accommodation provided. Tasks: Budding trees. Clean the crops. Clear and collect brush and debris from fields and other work areas. Cut agricultural seed according to farm standards. Cut horticultural crops. Deleaf agricultural crops to accelerate ripening . Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots. Greenhouse cleaning. Guide growing shoots into optimal development positions. Harvest seedlings. Mixing fertilizer. Operate climate controls. Remove manually all suckers and water sprouts. Seed cutting. Tie and secure plants. Weeding. Spray or dust plants with insecticides and fungicides. Assist in pruning trees, shrubs and plants. Mix and prepare soils. Plant bulbs and seeds. Pot and re-pot plants. Transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings. Apply fertilizers. Report signs of insect or disease damage. Assist in grafting activities. Dig up wrapping rootballs of trees and shrubs. Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens. Clean work area.
