This will include, but is not limited to:Working with relevant project teams and stakeholders in Finance to help plan and perform UAT and PIV for Financial Control related to project implementationsCollaborating with Finance counterparts in Financial Control, Product Control, Performance Management, Tax and Enterprise Finance and other impacted stakeholders to execute against plan and help identify, elevate and address key execution risksEffectively assist Financial Control in planning and ongoing discussions related to integration/implementation initiatives.In relation to specific initiatives, you will support Finance with respect to accounting, financial reporting, and controls and governance, ensuring transactions are accurately and completely captured in RBC financial systems.As a result, you will:Create relationships with the business and other key stakeholders as needed (e.g., Product Control, Performance Management, IT, Risk Management, Accounting Policy, Tax, Capital and other Enterprise Finance partners) when striving to resolve any finance-related implementation issues.Maintain a high standard of partner service quality by taking ownership and accountability of incoming requests, and proactively respond to ad-hoc inquiries and requests related to project implementation.WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?Must have:3+ years of financial institution experience in FinanceExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills ? ability to work with people at all levels within the organization.Excellent analytical thinking and acute attention to detail.Strong knowledge and understanding of financial reporting under IFRS accounting standards and internal controls over financial reporting.Highly motivated, collaborative, and self-starter attitude.Ability to manage numerous priorities simultaneously amidst tight deadlines.Nice-to-have:CPA designation or equivalentExposure to Capital Markets businessesKnowledge of RBC financial systems and associated procedures Proficiency with computer applications, such as Excel and PowerPoint.
