*Responsibilities:* * Fitting of different sized structural steel projects * Multi position FCAW/GMAW and stick welding * Operating horizontal band saw * Operating forklifts and cranes * Use of cutting torch, mag drill, drill press, angle grinder and air tools *Skills and Abilities:* * Adaptability: efficient under pressure and meets deadlines * Critical thinking: decision making and problem solving skills * Communication skills * Ability to plan, organize and prioritize independently * Accuracy and punctuality are imperative *Knowledge/Qualifications:* * Minimum 5 years in fabrication shop, including 2+ years MIG welding * Diploma/Certificate (including grade 12 education) * Certified Welder * Forklift certification * Own transportation Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care Experience: * welding: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person- Location Winnipeg, MB
