JP Laboratories is looking for qualified and experienced employees to join the successful team. We currently have the following full time position: *Microbiologist* *Primary Responsibilities:* * Perform a variety of tests for microbiological assays including microbial limit test (TPC, Yeast & Mold, E.Coli, Samonella, Staphylococus, pseudomonas). * Diagnostic test for designated organisms according to client?s requirements and methods, SOPs, current compendial USP, EP, BP, and ICH guidelines for microbiological testing. * Perform water testing, TOC, preservative challenge test for pharmaceutical products * Perform media preparation, growth promotion test for every culture media. * Perform temperature monitoring of incubators, refrigerators, and micro lab. * Maintain microbial stock culture collection. * Maintain good documentation systems and report formats for all laboratory procedures, processes and equipment. * Ensure all analysis performed meet GMP and regulatory and compendial requirements * Ordering lab supplies and maintenance of equipment, as well as execute qualification / validation activities. * Participate in investigations and document non-compliance or out-of-spec situations regarding any microbiological test *Education and Experience:* * University degree in Microbiology, or related science * Minimum 3 Years Microbiology Experience in Pharmaceutical, Nutraceutical, and/or Cosmetic Discipline is a must * Sound knowledge of practical microbiological assays * Sound understanding of USP, EP, BP, GMP, cGMP and ICH guidelines for microbiological analysis * Computer proficiency with MS Office programs The above positions are only applicable to permanent residence and/or Canadian citizens with a minimum degree in science and three years of direct experience. *To apply, please reference ?Senior Quality Control Microbiologist? in subject line and submit resume, cover letter and salary expectations to careers@jplaboratories.com* We thank all applicants for their interest, however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
