*Job Overview* This position is for Kitchen support staff. Horwood Lake Lodge is a remote fishing resort located west of Timmins Ontario. You must live on site for the season for this position. Room and Board are provided. We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic food service team. In this role, you will be an essential part of preparing and serving high-quality meals in a moderate paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent teamwork skills, and a commitment to maintaining food safety standards. *Responsibilities* * Assist the chef as required * Handle food safely and maintain proper hygiene practices during all stages of food handling * Support kitchen staff * Ensure cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts * Follow food safety protocols and maintain compliance with health regulations * Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating effectively with coworkers * Serve food to customers in a courteous and professional manner when required *Requirements* * This is a remote location. Must be prepared to live on site, room and board is supplied * Prior experience in cooking, food service, or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided * Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures is advantageous * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail * Strong teamwork and communication skills Join our team and contribute to creating memorable dining experiences through your dedication and culinary expertise.
