We?ve been successfully running a dog daycare providing exceptional care to dogs in the community. With the launch of our dog grooming facility next door, we?re offering an exciting opportunity for groomers to grow and thrive. We have established contacts with over 100 dogs that regularly use our daycare services, meaning there?s immediate potential for a consistent grooming clientele. We?re passionate about creating a safe, loving environment for dogs and their owners, and we believe in giving pets the high-quality care they deserve. Job Responsibilities: * Perform a full range of grooming services including bathing, brushing, clipping, trimming, and styling to various dog breeds and sizes. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe grooming area. * Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their preferences and concerns. * Manage scheduling and customer appointments. * Ensure the welfare and safety of the animals throughout the grooming process. * Assist in maintaining inventory of grooming supplies. Qualifications: * Proven experience as a Dog Groomer (certification required) * Knowledge of breed-specific grooming techniques. * Ability to handle dogs in a gentle and caring manner. * Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. * Must be comfortable and confident working alone.
