Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Hospital/medical facility or clinic. Tasks: Administer tests using equipment, instruct patients on test procedures and record results, and monitor, check and calibrate auditory equipment. Assess patients' physical abilities. Assist health care professionals. Assist physicians in the assessment of patients. Carry out treatment programs, under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists, to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities. Develop information materials for patients. Help medical examiner in charge. Help physical therapists. Maintain prescription records . Clean and maintain equipment. Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies. Record vital signs. Process claims such as health insurance or workers compensation. Maintain supplies. Perform general clerical duties. Schedule and confirm appointments. Teach and/or supervise exercises to patients. Organize and maintain inventory. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.- LocationBrampton, ONL6Y 0T3
