Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. Work site environment: Cold/refrigerated. Work setting: Large restaurant and hotel. Tasks: Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting. Cut carcasses, sides and quarters. Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat. Wrap and package prepared meats. Remove bones from meat. Weigh meats for sale. Cut poultry into parts. Price meat products. Sell meats to customers. Grind meats. Train meat cutters. Make special sausages. Slice cooked meats. Shape, lace and tie roasts, other meats, poultry and seafood. Prepare special orders. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.- LocationHamilton, ON
