MeganMae Catering is a leading caterer for children?s summer camps in Ontario and Quebec. We have over 15-years of experience in the industry. We cater to various camps feeding from 200 to 550 people three times daily.
MeganMae Catering offers seasonal employment opportunities while refining your food preparation skills. We are committed to offering a fun supportive and enjoyable work environment to our staff team.
These locations are rural and you are required to relocate for the duration of your contract. Food and lodging are provided for our staff.
We offer a variety of contracts between May and September depending on location. Most contracts run from June till August

Head chef position:
HEAD CHEF: Our Head Chefs are our most important positions, and thus they are people we hire with great care.
Skills required :
· mathematical food quantity calculations
· inventory management
· great cooking skills
· staff management from a variety of positions and backgrounds
· good interpersonal skills
· intricate knowledge of special diet needs
It is a challenging position both mentally and physically but can be the most rewarding as well. Compensation: $1850 per week
Free accommodations and food are provided at the camp.
Experience 5 years minimum as chef and sous chef.
PRODUCTION CHEF... Our Production Chefs are hired as a second Chef in our largest accounts.
Skills required:
· Large quantity hands on food production
· Mathematical food quantity calculations
· Inventory management
· Great cooking skills
· Staff management from a variety of positions and backgrounds
· Good interpersonal skills
· Intricate knowledge of special diet needs.
It is a challenging position both mentally and physically but can be the most rewarding as well. Compensation: $1400 per.
Experience 5 years minimum as chef and sous chef. Free accommodations and food are provided at the camp
*Responsibilities*
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and cooking.
* Manage inventory, including ordering and tracking supplies to maintain optimal stock levels.
* Lead and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
* Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 2-4 months
Pay: $1,850.00 per week
