Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Physical education teaching and coaching. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Air conditioned. Non-smoking. Work setting: Professional sports organization. Tasks: Carry out management duties. Coordinate competitive programs . Develop well planned competitive schedules and programs . Perform clerical duties, such as maintain filing systems. Plan, develop and implement training and practice sessions. Motivate and prepare athletes or teams for competitive events or games. Participate in coaching clinic instruction. Analyze and evaluate athletes' or team's performance. Observe and evaluate prospective athletes' skills and performance. Present materials at conference or symposium. Carry out administrative and clerical activities (record keeping, scheduling etc.). Security and safety: Criminal record check. Medical exam. Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: 20/20 vision. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Sound discrimination. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Standing for extended periods. Personal suitability: Accurate. Dependability.
