*General Responsibilities*
· Sets up for simple daily production of grill items as per the daily menu and ensures adequate supply of all required ingredients while ensuring food safety practices are upheld
* Sets up for and produces hot food components for daily production and ensures adequate supply of all required ingredients while ensuring food safety practices are upheld (rotation, temperatures, storage labelling)
* Prepares station for daily production of orders
* Receives Customer orders; cooks and serves those orders at assigned food stations
· Assist with preparation of catering food items as required
* Provides required customer support, assists on other food stations as required and to cover co-worker?s breaks
* Works as a team member and helps other staff with their duties when required
* Communicates with the Chef and/or Manager when customers have requests and/or concerns
*Qualifications*
· A minimum of 2 years industrial cooking and food service experience
· Ability to work independently and with a team, meet time targets, with strong organization skills
· Solid knowledge of food preparation and handling principles, processes, procedures, policies, directives and guidelines
· Knowledge of equipment and materials to use / operate used in food preparation areas such as grills, ovens, deep fryers, slicers, steamers and knives
· Current Safe Food Handlers Certificate
· Successful Police Check will be required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.39 per hour
Expected hours: 20 ? 25 per week
