A Canadian owned company*, Nova Pole International Inc.* designs, manufactures and markets steel and aluminum poles for use in highway and street lighting, traffic signals, transmission towers, high mast and sports lighting poles. Nova Pole?s head office and manufacturing plant is located in South Surrey. *Nova Pole International Inc.* is looking for a permanent full-time experienced, highly motivated, high performing and results driven Intermediate Accountant with excellent communication and time management skills. Reporting to the Senior Accountant, this position performs a variety of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and general accounting duties. This position involves working in our Surrey, BC location office. *Responsibilities: * The Intermediate Accountant is responsible for full cycle accounting and producing accurate and timely monthly financial statements. Supports the month-end closing procedures and reconciliations. Assists with the compilation of year-end working papers and audit preparation. Additional duties include processing a variety of accounts payable & accounts receivable transactions, assisting with month-end and quarter end journal entries, AR Collections, bank reconciliation, inventory analysis and costing, data entry and other duties as assigned. *Qualifications & Skills:* · Post-secondary diploma or certificate in bookkeeping; · 2-3 years Financial/Intermediate Accounting experience in full cycle accounting; · Auditing experience; · Experience in providing financial analysis data and reports · Experience in processing full cycle Payroll · Advanced Excel skills; · Excellent verbal, written and listening skills; · Consistently maintain a high degree of accuracy; · Strong analytical skills with attention to detail is required; · Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills; · Thrive in a busy, high volume environment; · Accountable and dependable; · Able to work in a team environment as well as independently; · Experience with SAGE and QuickBooks; · Experience in ERP an asset; *Benefits: * Nova Pole offers a competitive salary along with extended health and dental benefits and a company RRSP Plan.
