*Job Summary* We, Orosi Cafe, are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our team. This position can be part time. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and food preparation, with a focus on creating high-quality baked goods that delight our customers. The Baker will be responsible for producing a variety of items, including breads, pastries, and cakes, while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality. *Duties* * Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods, including breads, pastries, sandwiches, and cakes. * Decorate cakes and other items with creativity and attention to detail. * Ensure all food safety and handling guidelines are strictly followed. * Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area. * Assist in inventory management by tracking ingredients and supplies needed for baking. * Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers about products and taking special orders when necessary. *Skills* * Strong knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures. * Proficiency in baking techniques and cake decorating skills. * Previous experience in a restaurant or bakery setting is preferred but not required. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. * Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers. * Attention to detail in both baking processes and presentation of finished products. * A passion for baking and creating delicious treats that satisfy customer cravings.
