Job details
Education: College/CEGEP. Tasks: Coordinate access and use of computer networks. Maintain, troubleshoot and administer the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks and computer workstations and peripheral equipment. Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software and operating system software. Provide problem-solving services to network users. Perform routine network start up and close down and maintain control records. Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations. Respond to requests for help and information from Website visitors and Website designers. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Support for newcomers and refugees: Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition. Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Support for Indigenous people: Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers . Supports for visible minorities: Applies hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities (for example: anonymizing the hiring process, etc.).- LocationSurrey, BC
