Source Atlantic is seeking a Technical Sales Representative - Cutting Tool Specialist in Edmonton, AB. This individual will manage accounts within a given territory and be required to travel to machining/manufacturing and metal working customers. The applicant must have prior experience with cutting tool sales (2+ years) or have a strong machining/manufacturing background. A desire for continuous education and skill development along with strong communication, problem solving, and relationship building skills are a must.Responsibilities:Provide technical solutions to machining and manufacturing end usersDeveloping cutting tool customer contactsPromoting all cutting tool product linesGrowing sales and identifying new market and product opportunitiesIdentifying needs and providing technical solutions and service for customersYou will identify growth opportunities, and build relationships with customers to enhance long term business prospects Frequent travel to customer sites throughout Alberta to provide technical service, define problems and provide solutions to the end userQualifications:In-depth knowledge of CNC and conventional equipment, gained through experience and/or education is a mustCNC programming would be a definite assetAbility to read and interpret machining/manufacturing drawingsMust have strong problem solving skillsMust be outgoing, proactive, motivated, professional self-starterMust have time management and organizational skillsMust be computer literate and proficient with Microsoft OfficeExcellent communication and interpersonal skills requiredIf you possess the above skills and qualifications, we are offering a permanent position on an established team in a great working environment.All full-time positions offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:Competitive pay scale with commissionFlexible Health, Drug and Dental PlanMatching Contribution Retirement Savings PlanLife and Disability Insurance OptionsConfidential Employee Assistance ProgramService Awards ProgramEnhanced Vacation EntitlementPhysical Fitness Refund PlanSource Atlantic is an equal opportunity employer.
