Due to multiple openings within our organization and to accommodate further paramedic schooling needs, Kelvington Mobile Health Services is currently accepting applications for EMR, PCP, ICP and ACP positions. We are willing to review applications from restricted providers awaiting COPR results or exams as well as current students. Opportunities are available for permanent full-time, part-time or casual employment. *About Kelvington MHS:* Kelvington MHS is an Advanced Care Life Support designated ambulance service. We are staffed with two full time 4x4 chassis ambulances and conduct anywhere from 800-1000 calls per year. We pride ourselves on trying to be innovators in our field and have equipped our ambulances with various equipment to improve patient care and safety. Our ambulances are equipped with veinfinder abilities, video laryngoscopy, FLIR Infrared driving cameras, power stretchers and more. We also have a staff accessible gym and staff housing accommodations are available to be discussed for applicants outside of our service area. Our shifts are an 8h core time from 0900-1700 and a 16h standby/call in format outside these hours. Staff are not required to stay at base during core hours and may respond from home. *About The Area:* Kelvington is located in Eastern Saskatchewan approximately 250 kilometers east of Saskatoon and 250 kilometers North of Regina. We are located right near the edge of the Porcupine Provincial Forest. For winter lovers, we have an extensive amount of snowmobile trails in the area, maintained by our local snowmobile club in addition to cross country ski trails and more. During the summer months the town has a public swimming pool, walking trails and multiple nearby lakes for fishing, boating, or camping. The town also boasts multiple local restaurants, a full time hospital with attached care home, a pharmacy, a large hunting community and Pre-K to Grade 12 schooling. *What we are looking for:* Kelvington Mobile Health services is looking to add to our staffing list with either full-time, part-time or casual options available at any provider level. Applicants should have a strong understanding and ability to work within their respective scope of practice. Other duties may include unit and medication checks and restocking, public education opportunities, continuing education and more. Applicants may be required to provide proof of certification, drivers abstract and criminal record checks upon hiring. *What we offer:* As noted above, we have access to various types of specialized equipment to improve patient care, staff housing as well as gym access. Casual employees have the flexibility to work only when they want to with no obligation or minimum shifts required.
