<p>Hello ! I'm Gabriel, Recruitment Consultant for Fed Supply, an employment agency specializing in supply chain, logistics, transportation and customer service - offering temporary and permanent jobs in the Greater Montreal area. Our team of Supply Chain and Logistics experts speaks your language and operates in your world.</p><p>I'm assisting one of our customers in the food industry, located on Montreal's North Shore, in their search for a Warehouse Director.</p><p>Main responsibilities :</p><p>-Supervise all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking and shipping.<br>-Analyze and improve logistics processes to maximize efficiency and reduce operational costs.<br>-Recruit, train and supervise the warehouse team, ensuring compliance with safety and productivity standards.<br>-Ensure effective inventory management to maintain an optimal balance between supply and demand.<br>-Work with suppliers to plan deliveries and resolve any supply problems.<br>-Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure that products stored and shipped comply with company standards and food regulations.<br>-Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety laws and regulations, as well as workplace safety standards.<br>-Develop and manage the warehouse budget, monitoring expenses and identifying cost reduction opportunities.<br>-Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for innovation and implementing improvement projects.<br>-Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance, such as key performance indicators (KPIs), and present this information to management to guide strategic decisions.</p><p>Skills and Abilities :</p><p>-Very good command of French (read, written and spoken), functional English;<br>- Good command of the operations and challenges of food processing in a federally inspected and SQF-certified plant.<br>-Knowledge of the various laws and regulations governing the storage and distribution of perishable products<br>distribution of perishable products;<br>-Knowledge of the realities of exporting food products to the United States and other foreign countries (an asset)<br>-Computer skills: MS Office suite, scanner systems, ability to learn new software.</p><p>The use of English is required for the following reasons:</p><p>-Communication with international customers<br>-Collaboration with English-speaking partners<br>-Drafting documents in English</p><p><br>PROCESS: Initial interview with Gabriel Lemoine, Fed Supply Recruitment Consultant - followed by an interview with the company's Human Resources Manager and Position Manager.<br>To apply: www.fedsupply.ca<br>To contact me: (438) 378-7599<br>C: </p>
