We are seeking a highly skilled Metal Fabricator with extensive experience in welding, fabricating, and installing guard rails, handrails, stairs, and other structural components. The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to producing high-quality metal products. The candidate should also be customer-focused and consistently maintain a positive attitude.
*Duties:*
- Fabricate metal components in accordance with project specifications and blueprints.
- Execute welding tasks using MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques.
- Install guard rails, handrails, and stairs on-site, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Operate and maintain various fabrication equipment, including plasma cutters, saws, grinders, and press brakes.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure that finished products meet design specifications.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers and team members to ensure timely project completion.
- Work closely with team members to achieve common goals.
- Perform maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
*Qualifications:*
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in metal fabrication, welding, and installation.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques and metalworking equipment.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Valid Class G driver's license and reliable transportation.
*Skills:*
- Proficiency in MIG and stick welding, along with the operation of welding equipment.
- Experience with power tools, hand tools, and machinery.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints.
- Familiarity with operating forklifts and material handling equipment.
- Knowledge of metal fabrication processes and welding techniques.
- Experience with press brake machines for bending metal components.
- Capability to rig components for lifting and positioning.
- Strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Ability to lift heavy weights (up to 75 lbs).
- Punctuality and willingness to work weekends as required.
- Ability to pass a security background check.

* Class G Licence (preferred)
