Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Noisy. Work setting: Willing to relocate. Tasks: Build staging or erect scaffolding for heavy metalworking jobs. Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment. Cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products. Operate machines or equipment which weld, solder, bolt, screw or rivet metal parts together. Operate presses or other forging machines to perform hot or cold forging to shape or form metal. Remove metal pieces from furnace when colour or metal indicates proper forging temperature. Select and transport material to work area manually or using crane or hoist. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Fast-paced environment. Hand-eye co-ordination. Handling heavy loads. Standing for extended periods. Work under pressure. Personal suitability: Flexibility. Team player. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months. Other benefits: Free parking available.
