The cashier/supervisor position is responsible for providing efficient and friendly service to customers and for maintaining excellent store operating standards at all times. Supervisor position includes assisting with store closing procedures at night. *Key Responsibilities:* * Provides a high level of customer service by establishing contact, greeting customers and ensuring customer satisfaction * Maintains a balanced float while on shift and followed by counting cash drawer at the end of shift, reporting and accounting for any discrepancies * Initiates opportunities for additional sales * Faces and displays merchandise * Ensures products are scanning correctly and advises management of any discrepancies * Demonstrates consistent growth in product knowledge and product changes * Handles products and operates equipment according to regulations and company policies and procedures * Demonstrates a high level of professional and ethical standards by adhering to all company policies and procedures * Participates in maintaining a prosperous and enjoyable work environment for all staff * Assists in receiving and storing products according to company policy * Maintains the privacy and confidentiality of all sales and related information for Urban Cellars *We want our team members to have:* * Previous cashier experience in a fast paced environment * Previous customer service experience * Experience working in the beverage or grocery retail industry * Good math and problem solving skills * *Must* have open availability and the flexibility to work nights and weekends if required *Requirements:* * *Must* *be 19+ years of age* * *Must* *have Serving it Right certificate* * Must be able to bend, reach and stand for long periods of time without an issue * Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis without issue Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $15.25 per hour Expected hours: 15 ? 20 per week Shift: * Afternoon shift * Day shift * Evening shift * Morning shift Work days: * Holidays * Weekends as needed Experience: * Cashiering: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Serve It Right Saskatchewan (required) Work Location: In person- LocationSaskatoon, SK
