Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Outdoors. At heights. Confined spaces. Noisy. Dusty. Hot. Work setting: Urban area. Various locations. Rural area. Construction site. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Perform pre-operational inspection. Operate pile driving cranes to drive pilings into earth to provide support for buildings and other structures. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites. Perform routine maintenance work. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Direct traffic at or near construction sites. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Driver's License (Class 3 or D). Driver's License (Class 1 or A). Equipment and machinery experience: Bobcats. Power-driven floats. Forklift. Hand tools. Security and safety: Bondable. Driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Own vehicle. Vehicle supplied by employer. Willing to travel. Valid driver's licence. Travel expenses paid by employer. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Tight deadlines.
