Salary to be determined depending on experience, energy, attitude and qualifications.
Duties:
* Learn OMAC's school curriculum, including forms and self-defense, as well as WT Kukkiwon regulated poomsae
* Adhere to the class structure by operating fun and applicable warm-up segments and/or kicking technique segments
* Lead Taekwondo classes
* Address a large group of students with ease
* Provide positive reinforcement to all students
* Motivate students to improve at each rank
* Provide adequate feedback to each student so as to ensure their improvement
* Enforce school policies and boundaries where applicable
* Works to create a strong team with Instructors and Masters
* Assist with after school and camp programmes (ex: crafts, games, field trips)
* Supervise children and ensure safety
* Drive the after school van
Preferred qualifications:
* WT Taekwondo black belt, or black belt of another martial art
* volunteer or paid teaching experience
* Thrives in a team dynamic
* Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to manage a variety of tasks
* Independent and self-motivated
* Strong communication skills
* Strong emphasis on positive customer interactions
* Ability to connect with students and families to develop strong relationships
* Reliable and accountable
* Excels in a work environment with children
* Uses critical thinking to develop a structured lesson plan
* Open to learning new skills
* Evening and weekend availability
Requirements:
* Vulnerable Sector Criminal Background Check required for employment
* Class G driver's license
* Driver's abstract
* First Aid and CPR Level C certificate for working with children

Expected hours: 16 ? 40 per week
