Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Urban area. Tasks: Interview client individually, in families, or in groups, to assess their situation and problems to determine the types of services required . Refer clients to agencies that provide financial assistance, legal aid, housing, medical treatment and other services. Apply for social program funding. Monitor and evaluate. Supervision: 16-20 people. Target audience: Adults. Elderly. Females. Males. People with personal or social adjustment difficulty. Social work specialization: Socio-economic needs or conditions. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Child welfare check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Own vehicle. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Tight deadlines.
