Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Physician's office. Tasks: Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort. Take patients' blood pressure, temperature and pulse. Weigh, lift, turn and position patients. Make beds and maintain patients' rooms. Maintain inventory of supplies. Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher. Collect specimens. Administer first aid in emergency situations. Record and process patient data. Book appointments. Position patients. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : First Aid Certificate. CPR Certificate. Security and safety: Vulnerable sector check. Tuberculosis test. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Personal suitability: Client focus. Efficient interpersonal skills.
