Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Fruit and vegetable combination farming. Outdoors. Work setting: Staff accommodation available. Rural area. Relocation costs covered by employer. Tasks: Apply fertilizers. Clean the crops. Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas. Clear fields of wood and stones. Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots. Dose water saturation, light and temperature as instructed for crop growth and development. Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, colour and volume to fetch high price in market.. Level earth to fine grade specifications. Mixing fertilizer. Pack fruits and vegetables. Pick row and orchard crops. Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops. Sort fruits and vegetables. Tie and secure plants. Weeding. Harvest crops. Load, unload and transfer crates, supplies and farm produce, livestock and poultry. Type of crops: Apples. Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is not available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Walking.
