*Job Summary*
Armour Heights Community Centre is seeking a dedicated and passionate Archery Instructor. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing engaging and informative instruction to students ages 10 and up with a parent. The archery class is on Fridays from 6:00pm to 7:00pm beginning soon and continuing through the school year.
*Responsibilities*
- Develop and implement a comprehensive training program for archery students.
- Deliver instructional activities that facilitate the development of correct stance, aim and shooting techniques.
- Assess and monitor student progress
- Create a positive learning environment that encourages participation
- Set up equipment in a safe manner and ensure on site safety of participants
*Qualifications*
- Previous experience in teaching or instructing is preferred
- Demonstrated ability in Archery, with certification as an archery coach preferred
- Have or be prepared to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Strong organizational and time management skills
*About Armour Heights Community Centre*
We have been providing a large variety of recreational programs to children of all ages since 1984. The Centre is located at the corner of Avenue Rd and Wilson, near the 401.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1.5 per week
