Project ManagerPort Hawkesbury Paper is currently seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team. As a Project Manager at PHP, you will report to the Engineering and Asset Manager and be responsible to support or lead the development of new project/work scopes, maintain project control through budget/schedule tracking, analysis, forecasting and reporting. The Project Manager will have ownership of projects from initiation to close-out including coordination of project implementation with all stakeholders, effective management of engineering consultants, third party contractors and fabricators, and reporting project outcomes.Requirements:Candidates must be capable of performing safely in a highly technical and flexible work environment. The ideal candidate for this position is a team player who is proficient with estimating, scheduling and project controls.Experience/Education:Bachelor of Engineering or significant experience in project/construction management on industrial sites.Minimum 5 years' experience.Knowledge of contract law as it pertains to executing projects on an industrial site.Experienced in interfacing with contractors - tracking site safety and productivityProficient in project budget development and tracking.Skills/Competencies:Commitment to a safe work cultureAmbition, motivation, and determination - driven to exceed targets and expectationsSolid computer skillsStrong verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, and creative problem-solving skills.Ability to engage all stakeholders (engineering, purchasing, maintenance and operations) to achieve the best possible outcome for the business.Ability to manage through teamwork and influenceAbility to adapt to tight deadlines and frequent changes in prioritiesHigh energyConfident decision-making skillsCompensation: Port Hawkesbury Paper offers a competitive salary with a comprehensive benefits package, and a challenging and rewarding work environment.Our HR team is actively recruiting for this role.
