Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Operate cash register. Process money, cheques and credit/debit card payments. Scan items. Receive payment for goods or services. Stock shelves and clean counter area. Greet customers. Assist customers with self-checkout. Experience: Experience an asset. Support for newcomers and refugees: Assists with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: housing, transportation, storage, childcare, winter clothing, etc.). Does not require Canadian work experience. Support for youths: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth. Support for Indigenous people: Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers .
