Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Various locations. Tasks: Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions. Order parts and maintain inventory. Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts. Keep maintenance reports and documentation. Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications. Attach components and adjust new farm equipment. Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work. Perform repair work on heavy trucks. Service attachments and working tools. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Handling heavy loads. Standing for extended periods. Weight handling: More than 45 kg (100 lbs). Personal suitability: Dependability. Excellent oral communication.
