Our clinic is seeking a dedicated and passionate pelvic physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. As a pelvic physiotherapist, you will play a critical role in providing specialized therapeutic services to patients experiencing pelvic health conditions. Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients dealing with pelvic health issues, including but not limited to urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, pre/postnatal care, and post-surgical rehabilitation.
- Developing personalized treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, utilizing evidence-based techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, education, and modalities.
- Employing specialized techniques within pelvic floor rehabilitation
- Providing excellent patient care, offering support and reassurance while actively listening to patients' concerns and addressing any questions or uncertainties.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals within our clinic to ensure a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care, facilitating effective communication and integration of treatment plans.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient assessments, progress, and treatment plans, adhering to professional standards and clinic protocols.
- Actively participating in continuing education and staying current with advancements in the field, embracing a lifelong learning mindset.
Qualifications:
- Registered Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
- Additional training and certification in pelvic health physiotherapy.
- Demonstrated proficiency in conducting evidence-based assessments and developing treatment plans for various pelvic health conditions.
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathologies related to pelvic health.
- Strong manual therapy skills and ability to integrate them into patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish trust and build rapport with patients.
- Proven ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Proficient computer skills for accurate documentation and reporting.
