<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p><strong>The Role:</strong><br><br>We are expanding our Bookkeeping Department to accommodate the needs of our growing client base. We are looking to hire competent and personable remote bookkeepers with experience working with multiple clients. You must be able to work up to 20 hours per week to start. This can potentially lead to a full-time opportunity.<br><br><strong>Start Date:</strong> Immediately<br /><strong>Wage:</strong> Competitive based on experience<br /><strong>Location:</strong> Remote - work from home<br><br><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Managing a portfolio of clients with various levels of complexity</li><li>Preparing monthly financial statements for clients (including monthly bank and credit card reconciliation)</li><li>Collaborate with each client to obtain supporting documents</li><li>Maintain accurate ledgers by categorizing transactions to the correct accounts</li><li>A/P: Enter and pay supplier invoices</li><li>A/R: Issue invoices to customers and ensure receivables are collected</li><li>Sales tax (GST/HST, PST) recording & remittances</li><li>Meet deadlines and client needs, including reporting</li><li>Preparing quarterly and yearly closing entries</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients</li><li>Work with external accountants for yearly financial statements</li></ul><p><br /><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Full-cycle bookkeeping experience is required</li><li>Completion of College or University in either accounting, bookkeeping or a related field is required</li><li>Experience with QuickBooks online</li><li>Comfortable with technology and other various platforms, such as MS Office, MS Teams, Google suite etc.</li><li>Able to communicate with clients and team members via video calls</li><li>Experience working with multiple currencies</li><li>Dedicated home office space</li><li>Outstanding communication and collaboration skills with both clients and team members</li><li>Ability to work under deadlines</li><li>Can work independently with minimal supervision</li><li>Demonstrate initiative, follow-through, and problem-solving ability</li><li>Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work</li></ul></div>Company Description<div>Would prefer applicant is on the West Coast (PST time zone).<br />Must be available during the day to connect with team members and clients.</div></div><h3>Company Description</h3><div>Would prefer applicant is on the West Coast (PST time zone).\r\nMust be available during the day to connect with team members and clients.</div>
