Dyck?s Pharmacists is located in Kelowna, British Columbia, situated on beautiful Okanagan Lake. We are independently owned and operated and have been proudly serving all of Kelowna and the surrounding Okanagan area since 1955. Our goal is to provide our patients with all their pharmacy needs including Custom Compounding (both sterile and non-sterile), Compliance Pill Packaging, Home Health Care and Medical Supplies.
Our company culture is one that promotes a positive work environment and work-life balance. We are open Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm and Saturday's 10:00am to 4:00pm. No late evenings and we are closed all Sundays and statutory holidays. Enjoy your evenings and weekends at the lake, touring wineries, camping at one of our many provincial parks, or spend time during the winter months up at Big White Ski Resort.
*Our St. Paul location has two Pharmacists and three Registered Technicians scheduled daily. We are looking for a third Registered Technician to join the team. Currently our Registered Technicians work Monday to Friday and are not scheduled weekends.*

*Job Description*
At Dyck's Pharmacists we are innovative problem solvers that focus on finding a suitable solution for every one of our patients.
We are looking for a full time Registered Technician to work 32 - 40 hours per week.
As a Registered Pharmacy Technician you will be responsible for assisting the Pharmacists with daily operations of the Pharmacy. This includes but is not limited to:
* Processing and preparing prescriptions.
* Performing final checks on prescriptions including custom compounds and pill packs.
* Counselling patients on the use of medical devices.
* Assisting patients in person and over the phone.
* Collaborating with other Health Care Professionals including Pharmacists, Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Dentists, Care Aides, and Support Workers.
The successful candidate will be a registrant with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia, and will have:
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Exceptional customer service skills.
* Good organizational skills and the ability to multi task.
* Basic computer skills (experience with Kroll Pharmacy Software is an asset).
* Problem solving skills.
*Compensation is negotiable based on experience level of the successful candidate.*
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 ? 40 per week
