Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Air conditioned. Non-smoking. Tasks: Produce carvings from wood, stone and other materials. Design metal jewellery, utensils, implements, wall hangings and other objects. Design ornamental and ceramic functional earthenware pieces. Design stained glass windows, lampshades and other objects and cut, paint, fire and assemble pieces of stained glass to create such products. Organise day-to-day business operations. Sell products on a retail basis. Type of materials: Ceramic or porcelain application. Clay. Porcelain. Wood. Area of specialization: Dolls. Toys. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Manual dexterity. 20/20 vision. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Ability to distinguish between colours.
