Plan layout or format of copy according to space or time allocations . Publish text for distribution. Detect and correct errors in spelling, grammar and syntax. Shorten or lengthen copy. Plan coverage of upcoming events and assign work accordingly. Negotiate royalties with authors and initiate payments to freelance staff.
