We offer our staff a gold standard health and dental package, 3 weeks paid vacation, time off over the Christmas season, and a matching RRSP contribution plan for up to 3% of your salary.Ability New Brunswick is recruiting a passionate, motivated and creative Seniors Navigator to provide services to seniors in the Moncton (Westmorland, Albert & Kent Counties) area. The Seniors Navigator will engage in the role of counsellor, planner, navigator, and facilitator to ultimately empower the independence and full community participation of seniors who have a mobility disability. The candidate will work with individuals and their support networks to identify needs and goals, set goals, develop action plans, identify solutions and mobilize supports and services.The successful applicant must possess the following qualifications:Post-secondary degree in Psychology, Sociology or Human ServicesExperience in navigation and person-centred planning with seniorsExcellent organizational, time-management, communication, relationship building, writing & facilitation skillsExcellent problem-solving & creative thinking skillsA knowledge of and passion for disability issuesA strong knowledge of community resourcesStrong computer skills and high level of proficiency in Microsoft OfficeStrong proficiency in French and English required. Salary: $48,000 to $55,000 + benefit package. Valid driver's license, travel and service delivery within urban and rural areas, and use of own vehicle is required.
